Before and during my studies at Oxford University I contributed to the website of New Eastern Europe, a leading journal in the politics and culture of Eastern Europe, funded by the Polish government and European Union.
My close relationship with the editors led me to be invited to the European Solidarity Academy – a journalism workshop run by the educational arm of Polish trade union, Solidarnosc.
My expert analysis of the pardon of Yuri Lutsenko was republished by the Kyiv Post.
I have also reviewed Leslie Woodhead’s How the Beatles Rocked the Kremlin and Stephen Kotkin’s Stalin: Paradoxes of Power Volume 1 for the print edition (paid commissions).
